Taking the Leap with Young Living

I admit I'm cautious about new ventures - more of a look-before-I-leap sort of girl.  And by that I mean look/stalk/research for 6-12 months before leaping, so no judgment from me if you haven't felt ready to take the proverbial plunge into becoming a YL member!  But just so you know what it entails and the pathways to get there, here's the deal.  If you want their products but do not want a membership, you can sign up as a retail customer and pay full retail prices, or you can link up with someone who is a member and order through them.  Through a member you will pay anywhere from full retail prices up to a max allowable 14% off (you can probably guess where I fall on that spectrum - some call me a pushover, I say I'm generous!).  But if you want the whole shebang, wholesale prices at the maximum 24% off, you need your own membership.

Having a membership does NOT require you to sell.  Ever.  For the first year I had my membership, I was blissfully happy using it for myself alone - I only started selling when friends and family approached me asking to buy.  In addition to the wholesale pricing you have access to an incredible community and resources, the option to join Essential Rewards (sort of like the best monthly subscription box program EVER - the amount of free stuff you can get is staggering), and of course the option to dabble in the biz and make some money.  The only requirement to maintain an active account is a $50 order per year.  

What if you forget and DON'T make a $50 order in a year and your account goes inactive?  Well, they strip you down and march you through the streets chanting "Shame!  Shame!  Shame!" a la Game of Thrones.
